Lithuanian Products and Traditions Presented at a Charity Fair in Ankara
The staff of the Lithuanian Embassy in the Republic of Turkey, together with representatives of the Lithuanian community, took part in the traditional Christmas fair, which took place on the 1st of December in Ankara.
It was a good opportunity to present Lithuanian cultural heritage and national traditions. Lithuanian food, amber and linen products, were sold at the Lithuanian stand, as well as innovative Lithuanian production – dried vegetable and berry powder.
The charity event is organized annually by the Turkish Diplomatic Spouse Solidarity Association. It is attended by about 40 foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations. Funds raised this year will go to education projects in Turkish schools.
