Vilnius University hosting cybersecurity competition
Kaunas Faculty of Vilnius University (VU) is hosting VU Cyberthon, an international cybersecurity tournament.
Some 600 participants from more than ten countries around the world have registered for the competition that will run on Thursday and Friday.
“In the first part of the event, guest lecturers will read thematic reports on vulnerabilities in web applications, information warfare, artificial intelligence, and share tips that may be relevant to both cybersecurity experts and everyday technology users,” the university has said in a press release.
“The second part will revolve around problem-solving”.
“During the competition, IT professionals and amateurs will apply their knowledge in an attempt to overcome the cybersecurity challenges in information systems, computer networks, cryptography, intelligence, and other topics,” according to the organizers.
