New ambassador of Lithuania on Sunday attended the Foreign Ministry to present copies of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

the Accredited Ambassador of Lithuania Richard S. Digoutis, the non-resident Ambassador of Lithuania presented a copy of his credentials to Amirabdollahian at the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this meeting, Ričardas Degutis, proposed to expand relations and improve the level of economic and commercial cooperation between Iran and the member states of the European Union, including Lithuania emphasized on developing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran as much as possible.

He and Mr. Mohsen Karimi, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Iran, also met with Dr. Saadat, Assistant Minister and Director General of Western Europe and discussed the relations between the two countries.
