The Fashion Industry is the only and unique degree programme in the North Eastern Europe. The University offers the studies of not only fashion management, history and psychology, but also teaches the ability to plan fashion market, and predict its changes. To develop a critical perception of fashion as a broad cultural phenomenon, even without bypassing the modern lifestyle management issues.

The aim of this programme of studies is to train fashion industry communication specialists who are able to develop and operate in the effective society using the products of creativity and production.

Studying fashion is a real challenge, it is a better grasp not only to better understand the trends of the high fashion and street fashion, but also to widely analyze them, to predict and plan fashion products, to comment on the modern way of life, and to analyse the changing personality representation forms in the diverse communication field. The program of studies of Political Communication and Journalism trains journalists of a new generation who are able to use the latest technology, make strategies policy and adjust communication in the social environment. During the studies students will be introduced to the political phenomenon, as part of a very broad culture. The policy covers both the private and public human life and requires good presentation and publicity in the general society, concentrated expression of the prevailing opinion of the majority, discussing and even identification of the public interest.

Here students will acquire the knowledge of marketing, consumer cognitive psychology, research and analysis and other, which help predict the needs of people and even the build their liking. Entrepreneurship is understood as the ability to create or observe viable business ideas, to initiate their implementation, to mobilize the necessary resources, to create new businesses and assume the risk related with business development. Entrepreneurship as one of the management concepts is purposefully focused on the needs of creation and establishment of start-ups, and for this reason it is significantly different from other management models designed for mature enterprise management. In the broad sense, entrepreneurship is a type of modern economy, pervading all areas: science, art, culture and social life.

The aim of the Entrepreneurship and Management programme of studies is to train business professionals who are able to address challenges of the innovative knowledge economy.

The programme widely applies innovative, student-oriented teaching methods: combining classical training methods (e.g., lectures, discussions) and experiential learning methods (e.g., teamwork, real case studies, pilot/simulation project development and implementation, interdisciplinary learning) aimed not at the formal implementation of the process but rather creative and innovative experience and outcome.

The main goal of the Business Management programme of studies is to train professional business management professionals who are in the position to adapt to the business environment and technological changes, changing labour market requirements and have skills for a rational and efficient use of resources to create added value. By merging the areas of the public, the creator and the consumer, creative communication professionals work in the public and private sector, manage and test the products of media communications, digital technology, and social innovation. Excellent orientation in the field of integrated communication allows the implementation of creative public and creative economy strategies for the development of the leading role of the European Union at the international and even intercontinental level.

Large businesses and internationally active public institutions, creating, ensuring and implementing innovation in practice, determining changes in the landscape of society and development, always look for personalities capable of interdisciplinary thinking and working in a changing environment. Research shows that integrated creative communication professionals are just like that. It is forecasted that in the future they will not only hold the positions of company managers of the rating in the field of innovation, but also generate the greatest profits. Therefore, integrated creative communications professionals are characterized by pervasive and wide outlook, are able to adapt to the changing communication, technology and policy, combine and use different communication models, manage technologies, conduct and are based on scientific research in solving the problems of public relations, management, marketing, etc.

The program aims to develop non-classical management professionals and leaders of organisations with a new approach, who are able to develop new and apply the existing modern management principles, implementing innovations that add value not only to the organization but also to the society as a whole.

Studies of organizational innovation and management provide the necessary knowledge and competencies, develop creativity and innovation, and provide self-confidence, enabling them students to become confident participants of the market.

This master’s program aims to train a company manager who takes the bold role of leader and perfector of the organisation. Knowing his and areas for improvement, such leader will be able to evaluate the culturally conditioned management practices and integrate professional knowledge, skills and values in the attainment of the objectives. Furthermore, such an executive will promote solutions of problems in personal relationships and interaction with the environment, initiate social change and innovation necessary for ensuring the wellbeing of individuals, organizations and society. This study program is the first of a kind and the only program in Lithuania related to future studies. The objective of the Future Foresight and Strategic Governance program is to prepare specialists of the highest qualification who are capable of understanding complex management relations integrally in multistage and changing environments of the global world; able to apply future foresight methodologies while formulating public administration policies and economic activities, as well as being able to execute strategic planning and program management, to prepare and implement public management strategies, to solve complex tasks in the online social, economic, cultural multistage management environments, to carry out strategic planning of technological advances related with modern information and communication in different levels and areas of public activity; furthermore to be able to implement sustainable development principles in public management, as well as to make innovative decisions while creating efficient and competitive management strategies.

The programme of integrated studies of Law is classical studies of law simultaneously combining the undergraduate and graduate studies. The study programme provides the fundamental legal knowledge and skills, which are regulated by normative documents. The whole of subjects is the basis, in addition to specific qualification restrictions, to pursue a career in all major areas of legal activities.

The aim of the programme is to train top-level lawyers capable of exercising the conceptual way of thinking, identifying and solving problems of legal regulation in various fields and of various complexity, applying legal norms and serving the public and private sectors at the national, regional and international levels, in compliance with professional qualification, social responsibility, quality and ethical standards.

During the legal studies, theoretical studies are linked to the maximum extent to practical activity, accumulation of experience and research, building the valuable active approach to modern life, educating special communication skills and career planning.

The programme offers students an introduction into the legal infrastructure of global transactions which significance increased dramatically over the recent decades around the globe. The objective of the programme in international trade and business law is to educate legal practitioners who desire to specialize in international trade and international business law. The programme is designed to equip students with both practical and academic tools to provide legal services in a globalized knowledge-based economy.

The programme is composed of 2 core modules, which are taught in English in two semesters and thus is designed to provide students with a systematic learning process.

The programme offers several foundational courses cover the major areas in business – contracts, investment, insurance and transportation, as well as corporate regulations, followed by alternative dispute resolutions.  It also covers trade law, payments and finances, banking regulation, intellectual property protection and international tax law.

Where do we need more and where less Europe? What can Europe contribute to global, sustainable and socially just development? These and other questions are covered master in European and global challenges program. Students learn methodological skills and apply these to practical situations.

The program encourages students to develop a shared understanding of the complex interactions taking place within the European economy and European society. The program provides insights into the discipline of European law and also takes into account economic and sociological point of view by focusing on the interdependencies between economic trade, legal frameworks, and the social consequences for European states as well as cross-border societal development within the European Union and its neighbors. One special feature of the program is the research project in the third semester. Students are given the opportunity to work in research groups attached to faculty chairs or at an associated research facility and develop their own research proposals in the various colloquia on offer.

The Master program in European law and Global Studies is designed to produce graduates in specialized subjects at a level sufficient to take up management positions in the fields of scientific of legal and political consultation and social organisations, trade unions, industrial enterprises, international organizations and organizations active in Europe and worldwide, as well as in management pyramid and transnational institutions.

The Master program in European law and Global Studies uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and, according to the ECTS, students should complete a total of 90 credits. Of this total 60 credits will be completed during the two semesters of the course and 30 credits will be gained through a master’s thesis over a period of 6 months.

Students who want to follow academic careers will be able to apply to PhD program in universities in the European Union and worldwide.
